We expand knowledge of essential nature of life as well as biodiversity by focusing on various organisms, including bacteria, fungi, plants and animals, from the perspective on molecular, cellular, individual and global bases.

We are committed to education, preparing students to comprehend broad knowledge on organisms and life phenomena, resulting that they can apply their own research to solve newly developed problems and contribute to the human society.
