Concepts of Laboratory

Cities have undegone extensive artificial modification and overcrowding of land in their growth process. Once a city has experienced ad disaster, its damage will be enormous both human and merial. In order to live safely and securely, accurate information and diagnosis about the underground geology and ground that becomes basic of the city is necessary. In our laboratory, we conduct basic research on natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides, besides research on urban soil structure.
