Mathematical English
In this series of lectures, I plan to talk about some
rules of writing mathematical papers in English,
starting with 2 lectures on General English writing
instructions (following closely the book by Strunk and
White, maybe of interest also to non-mathematicians).
I discuss general structuring rules, as well as local
rules on undesired use of expressions, grammatical
constructs, proper notation, formulation of results
and statements, use of references etc.
