:From Chandrasekhar white dwarfs to self-gravitating fermionic dark matter
u :Robert Peschanski(IPhT, CEA-Saclay)

Tv : After some generalities on degenerate or thermal fermion clouds, I will use the famous Chandrasekhar prediction/derivation of white dwarfs as a warming exercise for the problem of a self-gravitating cloud of non relativistic degenerate or thermal fermions. Possible applications to galactic dark matter will be finally discussed.

:Vacuum fluctuations in an ancestor vacuum: A possible dark energy candidate
u :֖싱O(B)

Tv : We consider an open universe created by bubble nucleation, and study possible effects of our ancestor vacuum,'' a de Sitter space in which bubble nucleation occurred, on the present universe. We compute vacuum expectation values of the energy-momentum tensor for a minimally coupled scalar field, carefully taking into account the effect of the ancestor vacuum by the Euclidean prescription. We pay particular attention to the so-called supercurvature mode, a non-normalizable mode on a spatial slice of the open universe, which has been known to exist for sufficiently light fields. This mode decays in time most slowly, and may leave residual effects of the ancestor vacuum, potentially observable in the present universe. We point out that the vacuum energy of the quantum field can be regarded as dark energy if mass of the field is of order the present Hubble parameter or smaller. We obtain preliminary results for the dark energy equation of state w(z) as a function of the redshift, and comment on the possibility of testing our mechanism by future observations. Based on a collaboration with Hajime Aoki, Satoshi Iso, Da-Shin Lee and Chen-Pin Yeh, arXiv: 1710.09179 (to appear in Phys. Rev. D).

: Complete factorization in minimal N=4 Chern-Simons-matter theory
u : RCꎁ()

Tv : I will speak about up-coming work with T.Nosaka on the study of the minimal N=4 Chern-Simons matter theory, that is, N=4 $$U(N)_k \times U(N+M)_{-k}$$ Chern-Simons theory coupling to one bifundamental hyper multiplet employing its partition function, which is given by an $$2N+M$$ dimensional integration via localization. Surprisingly, by performing the integration explicitly the partition function completely factorizes into that of pure Chern-Simons theory for two gauge groups and an analogous contribution from the hypermultiplet. Employing the completely factorized partition function we explicitly show the level/rank duality of the system, which is anticipated by the Hanany-Witten effect of type IIB brane configuration. If time permits, I also comment on the connection to the higher-spin theory in the 't Hooft limit.

: Yang-Baxter deformations and generalized supergravity
u : gcY()

Tv : It is well-known that type IIB superstring theory on the AdS_5 x S^5 background is classically integrable. Recently, integrable deformations of this system have been studied very actively by adopting a systematic way called the Yang-Baxter deformation. In this talk, I will give a review on recent progress on this issue. The deformations under the unimodularity condition lead to solutions of type IIB supergravity including the Lunin-Maldacena backgrounds (dual for beta deformations of the N=4 super Yang-Mills theory), the Maldacena-Russo backgrounds (dual for non-commutative gauge theories) and Schroedinger spacetimes (dual for non-relativistic conformal field theories). In general, however, the resulting deformed backgrounds are not solutions of the standard type IIB supergravity, but of the generalized supergravity. Finally I will describe the relation between noncommutative gauge theories and the generalized supergravity.

: Irregular conformal block and spectral curve
u : Chaiho Rim (Sogang Univ.)

TvFWe present recent developments of irregular states and their inner product using the irregular conformal vertex operator formalism. We augment free field formalism by screening operators and provide the (deformed) spectral curve of the inner product at the Nekrasov-Shatashivili limit. Some of important properties of the spectral curve will be discussed.
