International Course of Graduate School of Science
Osaka City University Graduate School of Science (GSS) provides courses in English; Japanese is not mandatory to obtain a degree. This allows you to obtain a master’s or doctoral degree in English. You can take entrance examinations, lectures, seminars, research guidance, and degree examination in English. Students of this course will belong to one of the following three divisions.
- Mathematics & Physics,
- Molecular Materials Science,
- Biology & Geosciences.

Application period is September 9 – September 18, 2020.
Applicants who have difficulty obtaining TOEFL-PBT, TOEFL-iBT, TOEIC, or IELTS scores due to the closure of test centers need not submit a Certificate of English Proficiency. All applicants' English proficiency is tested by exams taken on the day of the oral examination.
Application period is April 13 – April 24, 2020.
