We, "Atom no Kai", were established in September 2019 with the aim of providing a place for researchers and students to gather and discuss with each other in order to take a leap forward in cold atom research in Japan. Our thoughts are summarized in the following four lines.

• Ambitious: (we aim for the world)
• Theory and Technology: (Emphasis is placed on the fusion of theory and experimental technology)
• Open-minded: (Enliven the field through discussions)
• Mutual-understanding: (A better understanding of each other's research is a top priority)

In short, we aim to establish something like the Gordon Research Conference on cold atoms.
