| アブストラクト | The Frobenius morphism on a reductive algebraic group does not split as a morphism of algebraic groups. On its algebra of distributions, the universal enveloping algebra of its Lie algebra in characteristic 0, however, there is an idempotent and a splitting of the Frobenius morphism into the "block" defined by the idempotent. The splitting enables us to introduce a new operation on the category of rational modules of the reductive group, which we call Frobenius contraction after Littelmann who defined it on some standard modules. Whenever available, the contraction can be described using the Steinberg module thanks to Donkin. We explain main properties of the contaraction known so far. This is joint work with Michel Gros. |
